Why This Matters Now

Across the country, we’re witnessing bold, coordinated attacks on racial equity—from DEI programs being dismantled to historical truths being erased from our public institutions. These aren’t isolated incidents. They’re strategic efforts to divide, distract, and dehumanize.

White men are often positioned—intentionally—as defenders of the status quo. But we don’t have to accept that role.

We can show up differently.

With clarity, compassion, and a commitment to healing, joy, and reparative action, we can be part of movements that not only support racial justice but also liberate us from isolation, disconnection, and inherited patterns of harm. Together, we can help build a world where everyone can thrive.

What to Expect

Are you ready to explore your role in building a more just and equitable community?

White Men for Racial Justice Minnesota's Foundations 101 is an 8-week hybrid journey designed specifically for white men ready to learn, reflect, and act in solidarity. Whether you’re just starting or deepening your anti-racist practice, this experience offers a powerful, respectful space to grow.

You’ll engage with:

    • The acclaimed Seeing White podcast series
    • Supplemental materials and prompts to unpack the construct of whiteness in America
    • Conversations grounded in honesty, curiosity, and accountability
    • A close look at the racial history and lived realities in our own Minnesota communities

This is not abstract work. It’s about learning how systemic racism has shaped the place we call home—and how we can move in solidarity right here.
